My earth angel (aka the Little Lady) was requested to take part in the annual traditional Easter celebration, the Salubong.
The celebration, traditionally held at dawn, dramatizes the meeting of the risen Christ and His beloved mother, Mary, after His resurrection. This includes two separate processions for each, in opposite routes, and then later on meeting at the front of the church, while the angels sing in (a makeshift) heaven.
We had to wake up at 3:30 am, as the celebration was scheduled at 4:30 am. Fortunately, it was one event that she eagerly looked forward to (after almost a week of practicing the angels' song), that's why she woke up easily after a little shaking, with a beautiful yawny smile on her face.
Tired and sleepy, rolled into one, she still let me take her pictures after the mass (of course, that is, after promising that I'll buy her pizza and let her join the Easter Egg Hunt.:)
