Fancy a Free Makeover?

Remember I wrote a while back about how to make an easy digital slideshow out of your photos through Roxio online? Now, the same company has recently cooked up a fun show called Roxio Digital Makeover, which aims to help average Joes make the most out of their digital lives.

Let’s face it, even though we already live in the digital age, some people are still in the dark when it comes to technology, as they are not aware that there are already simple ways to use it for their maximum benefit.

Well, this show demonstrates how anyone can do their own photo slideshows in a snap. Check out the episodes they have online and see what it’s like. I personally like the "Wedding Day Crunch", where the funny team of Chris and Zoey helped a couple to create a slideshow for their wedding.

What’s even great is that anyone could actually be the star of this show, just by entering their contest. Entrants are also given the chance to win great stuff like HDTV, cameras and other digital goodies! So head on over there and take a shot on being a Roxio Extreme Digital Makeover future star or taking home some of their cool prizes.

Look What I Made with Roxio!

It’s an open secret that I love taking pictures and capturing moments, not only whenever there are special occasions, but anytime the photographer in me emerges (which is way too often!).

The ever willing and favorite subject, of course, is my little lady. She’s only almost 7 years old and yet she has accumulated gigabytes of digital photos that could fill a computer’s entire hard disk storage.

I’m constantly thinking of ways on how to make something creative out of her photos other than having them printed. Good thing I discovered Roxio online - a very easy and fun way to create photo slideshows. The timing couldn’t be more perfect!

I tinkered with the little lady’s photos in the park that were taken after we attended a 1st birthday party in the park’s pavilion. I absolutely had to take photos of her with the fountain and the trees; she actually looks like a princess in the forest!

The slideshow only took a few minutes to make. All I did was to upload the photos, arrange them according to my preferred order, choose from a number of PhotoShow styles, personalize the caption (there’s also an option to add music, video and even stickers) and it’s ready for sharing! You can share your work via email, by posting in your blog or other social networking sites, have it on DVD or even broadcast it on TV! Yes, on live TV!

Cool, huh! It’s so user-friendly that even a child can do it. Check it out now and create your free slideshow today!
